After Maki and found out that her mother had died in hit-and-run accident, she was sent to live with an abusive family that worked her to death. Eight years later, the memory of her mother began to fade, only remembering the bedtime story that her mother used to tell her called "Elliot and Freedert". When she turned sixteen, she left the house and lived on her own. One day, she realized that she was attracted to a boy who went by the name of "Yamapi" and as days went by, she would get more and more interested in him. And because Yamapi was aware of her interest in him, he became friends with her. She was probably the only one that knew the all-so-great Yamapi's secret.
