That's how Hyekyung and Junho meet. She flings her paintbrush around in true Hyekyung style and it flies across the face of Junho, a complete stranger. Junho gradually becomes less of a stranger as their paths continue to cross unintentionally (and intentionally). However, Hyekyung has enough to deal with already, what with the loss of her parents, her smitten friend Dongjoo, a mysterious black car that won't stop harassing her, and a beautiful doll in a pawnshop window.

Hyekyung is a talented painter - except for portraits, which she has always struggled with. Yet, in the end, she creates a portrait that honestly betrays everything in her life and her world.

So she just walked, inhaling the coolness of the dawn.
