Author's Chapter Notes:
I LOVE SHIN DONGHO Hehe I hope you guys like the story!
Not much stories was made about Dongho so I decided to join AFF's amazing Bishounen Cafe Challenge :D
The banner was made by me and the poster was made by my amazing friend papercherry

Dongho fixed his grey plaid bow tie before straightning his blue and white diamond vest. A sigh escaped from his parted lips as his arm reached inside his locker, grabbing his black apron which he placed around his waist. Dongho's head swiftly turned towards the locker room's door when a certain well-built someone knocked on the door frame.

"What's with the grim face Mr. Cutie?" Dongho rolled his eyes at his boss before tying the strings on his apron into a tight little bow. After doing so he grabbed the lock for his locker and secured it.

"Please Rain hyung don't call me that, it's bad enough I have to hear it almost everyday, I don't need it from you too." Bi Rain, the boss of Korea's first Bishounen cafe chuckled at his most popular employee.

"Aww c'mon Dongho, don't be like that~ You're quite the ladies man, I have girls asking for you everyday! It was a relief when most of them finally figured out your shifts, made life less annoying for me and the others. Almost all of your customers figured out when you work here, which practically means-"

"Less annoying fake ajummas for you and more for me. Yay." Rain shook his head in pity for the young prodigy before patting his back as he passed by.

Shin Dongho is so far the youngest waiter to ever work in any Bishounen Cafe, automatically making him a wanted waiter with women of all ages, mainly cougars. But he hated it.

Any teenage boy would love to be adored by numerous women and he did- at first. Everyday Shin Dongho worked at the cafe he always found that mostly older women wanted him to serve them but it was hard for him. Having to force himself to talk about things he didn't even know about.

Everyday Dongho had to act mature to please his customers, everyday he had to laugh with a deep voice, talk in an elegant manner, stare at girls with a cool and attractive manner having to hide all of his feelings inside. Everyday he had to lie.

"Welcome to Bishounen Cafe." he greeted one of the women that entered the cafe. A giggle escaped from her lips before nodding her head to acknowledge him. Dongho forced another small smile unto his face as he gestured for the woman to follow one of his co-workers to a table inside the cafe. Once he turned away from her he let out a troubled sigh before looking up towards the door. Little did he know that his whole life was about to change once he greets his next customer.

Chiyun frowned at her growling stomach, a pout clearly evident on her babyface. As she took in a deep breath and let out a tired sigh her alluring dark brown eyes set themselves on a tiny cafe. The cafe wasn't like those other cafes with fancy lighting and overly decorated interior.

And the cafe strangly didn't linger of that bitter caffeine scent that she hated to inhale.The cafe was similar to that of a small, homey wooden cottage that just called out to Chiyun.

The smell of delicious and freshly baked cake met Chiyun's cute button nose causing her empty stomach to growl in response, earning her some unwanted attention. A faint pink blush crept across her chubby cheeks, her head lowering in shame as she quickly made her way towards the cafe.

Her tiny hands retreated from the the comfort of her oversized jumper's long sleeves, slowly coming out to pull a chair from behind the table when, to her surprise, someone else pulled it for her. Chiyun pulled her hands back and rested them infront of her chest, her head jerking up to find an extremely good looking boy around her age smiling at her with a smile that nearly melted her knees.

"Welcome to Bishounen cafe," he greeted her with the same forced smile. His voice was deep which slightly shocked Chiyun. Looking at the boy you wouldn't really think that he would have such a deep voice, considering the fact that he had such an adorable face. Chiyun examined the boy once more and noticed that he was at least a good two feet taller than her. 'Darn my brother for taking all the height genes.' she cursed.

She nodded timidly towards the handsome gentleman before taking a seat on the chair that he so kindly pulled for her. "My name is Dongho and I will be your waiter for today lovely miss." he continued, bending respectfully at the small girl before him. Dongho stared at her as she emitted a small giggle that rang in his ear. Her caring eyes met his causing a blush to spread across his cheeks.

"Lovely miss? No thanks, Chiyun would do just fine Dongho-ssi." she stated to Dongho with a genuine smile glimmering on her baby face. His heart skipped a beat the longer his gaze was glued unto the young girl's loveable figure. Dongho cleared his throat as he recomposed himself, a small smile growing on his usually gloomy face. Normally girls would be giggling and squealing at how he called them lovely miss but she was entirely different. Even her attire was different, out of everyone in the cafe, she stuck out like an igloo in a vast field of green grass and blooming colourful flowers during late spring.

What, wouldn't you notice an igloo standing somewhere it should've melted into a huge puddle? Back to the story~

"Umm here is our menu." Chiyun accepted the booklet with another smile as she opened it with enthusiasm. Her pointer finger softly tapped on her soft pink lips, her eyebrows furrowing in annoyance as her eyes failed to find one thing that she didn't want to eat. Noticing that the presence beside her never left, Chiyun looked up at Dongho with a confused look before speaking.

"Shouldn't you take out your little notebook and your pen to take down my order with? Or are you waiting for me to give you three clues before finally making sense of what I'm trying to order?" she joked referring to the famous kid show that she still enjoyed watching.

"Well usually people only order a thing two in effort of trying to keep their figure and during times like this we have to be careful and not waste any paper. And aren't you a little too old to be watching Blues Clues?" he questioned Chiyun in the same deep voice that he used with all his customers. His eyes shone with amusement as he watched the girl playfully glare at him before she pretended to hand him back the booklet, taking it back just seconds before he was about to grab it. A grin widely spread itself on her face whilst Dongho playfully glared at her little joke. "That's hilarious." his comment dripping with sarcasm, a mocking smirk forcing itself on his face.

Ignoring his comment, Chiyun's nose scrunched up in annoyance at Dongho's 'mature and alluring' concept but decided to keep her thoughts to herself, at least until she gets her food. Her eyes quickly read over the whole menu before she closed it with a loud 'clap' and handing it over to a surprised, wide-eyed Dongho. "I would like everything on the butterscotch menu, plus two glasses of warm water and a pitcher of warm water too. Please and thank you~" she chirped happily.

Dongho's jaw dropped in astonishment at the petite girl's order. There was just about 10 or more desserts on the butterscotch menu and she just ordered every single one of them. With a hesistant nod Dongho slowly made his way inside the cafe and towards the kitchen.

Rain's eyebrows rose as his gaze followed a certain 'pretty boy prodigy'. "Yah Dongho-ah, what's up with you?" asked Changsun, the cafe's patissiere. Dongho's eyes blinked rapidly as he placed the menu in a small tray with all of the other menus. His gaze then averted towards his two superiors as his voice slightly shook when he spoke. "H-hyung can you give me one of everything on the butterscotch menu?" he requested.

Changsun and Rain's jaws dropped at Dongho's request, their stares looking at him in sheer disbelief.

"E-everything?" Changsun repeated, his voice clear with shock. "Are you kidding me? Who could order that much sweets and expect to eat it in one sitting?" Rain asked Dongho. "HOW COULD SUCH A LITTLE GIRL EAT THAT MUCH SWEETS!!" Changsun whispered loudly when he saw who Dongho was pointing too.

The three of them stared at the little girl in silence, their eyes examining her closely. She was wearing an oversized jumper on top of what seemed like a black tanktop, showing off her shoulders. The jumper reached past her waist but was short enough to reveal the pair of black shorts that she was wearing. Her long dark hair was tied into one high side ponytail and her straight fringe emphasised her adorable baby face. She really looked like a fragile little doll that could be broken by being dropped.

Her legs continuously swung back and forth as a result of being too short to even touch the ground. She was wearing a heart shaped bag with small little wings attatched to it adding unto the image of her being a little kid.

Rain shook his head in attempt to snap out of the girl's trance. Changsun and Dongho jumped at the voice of their boss scolding them and telling them to get back to work.

Chiyun wasn't actually as fragile as she looked. She was actually really fit and curvy but her choice to put comfort before fashion often meant wearing jackets and jumpers way too big for her.

Whilst waiting for order Chiyun glanced inside the cafe through the glass window that she sat beside. Her eyes traveled from each and every girl flirting with the army of handsome waiters working inside the cafe, to the various different sweets on their tables and finally unto a certain maroon-headed boy. The corners of her lips slowly dropped into a frown every second she watched Dongho force himself to smile so fakely and laugh so forcedly towards the customers who were greeting him as he made his way towards her, plates of sweets on the tray that he and his co-workers were bringin to her table.

Dongho placed the last plate of sweets unto the table and proceeded to watched Chiyun's hungry gaze move from one well-made dessert unto another. A chuckle escaped his lips causing Chiyun to snap out of her trance and turn to face him with a serious look.

"Why are you acting so fake?" Dongho snapped his head towards her direction and frowned. "Excuse me?"

Chiyun let out a trouble sigh before taking a deep breath and continuing her 'conversation' with the pretty boy prodigy. Her eyes stared into his shivers to run down his spine, paralyzing him.

"Why are you acting so fake? Please stop it. I don't like how you're hurting yourself by forcing a totally different personality on yourself. I get how you have to act around the ajummas in the cafe but..." Chiyun lowered her head, mentally arguing with herself. With a sharp intake of air Chiyun jerked her head up and stared into Dongho's eyes once more, presuading herself that she had nothing to lose.

"But I'm your friend now Dongho-ah. Act naturally around me, talk normally to me, laugh Shin Dongho the teenager's laugh not Shin Dongho the prodigy's laugh. BE-YOUR-SELF, not that guy who has to pretend for plastic ajummas." She smiled sincerely before picking up one of the butterscotch flavoured desserts on her table and bringing a spoonful of it into her mouth.

Dongho's gaze set itself on the girl sitting before him. His mouth was agape and his lifeless arms rested beside his body as he felt the world stop. No one had ever told him to stop acting, no one seemed to care as much on how he had to pretend just to please other people. No one ever told him that they were friends in under 15 minutes of getting to know each other. And no one he'd ever met made his flutter the way she did. Her cute appeal, her strong and bold personality, everything seemed to just make him blush out of control.

Without knowing it a wide grin spread across his gorgeous face, catching the eye of everyone in and outside the cafe.

"He's so cute! And his smile is so adorable!" cooed one of the passerbys who was chatting to her friend who nodded her head in agreement.

"Omona, well would you look at that, seems like the little miss managed to put a genuine smile back on our little prodigy's face." Rain whipped his head towards Dongho and Chiyun and laughed in amazement at the sight before him. He turned towards the group of unoccupied waiters next to him and smiled mischievously.

"Well boys I think it's time for all of you to step it up a notch! I feel that one of our best waiters is going to quitting in about two months time." Changsun scoffed at his boss. "Two months? No way, I say our little prince is gonna get her in just about a months time!" he said boldly earning him a wide grin from Rain.

"If you lose you have to write 'Be my future baby's mama' in chocolate sauce on the cake that I tell you and personally give it to the customer I tell you to give it to." Rain informed Changsun mischievously. Even if he knew Changsun had a girlfriend he'd still make him do it, plus if Changsun's girlfriend didn't get jealous that easily.

Bishounen Cafe is full of hot and extremely attractive and charming men but if waiter was to find a girlfriend then they had quit. The only exceptions were the patissiere and the barista, seeing as how they really weren't waiters.

"And if I win you have to treat that girl to a whole week's worth of free food!" Changsun grinned, pointing towards Chiyun. Rain widened his faily small eyes as he gulped nervously, watching ChiYun finish off a huge butterscotch cake all by herself. The other waiters laughed at Rain's expression before urging him to agree on the bet.

With his pride on the line Rain pushed back the thought of him losing all of that money on a silly bet and shook hands with a grinning Changsun. 'Why do I have a feeling that Dongho's going to get his girl while I lose my cash?' he mentally cried.

"Why are you still standing there like a perverted paedophile who looks as if he's going to pounce on me any second noW? Sit down and wipe that creepy grin on your face before I complain to your boss." Chiyun playfully glared at him whilst pointing at the chair across from her. Her playful glare earned her a loud genuine laugh from Dongho causing her to grin like an idiot. "You have a nice laugh." She commented. Dongho stared at her in shock for what seemed like the millionth time before smiling and sitting down on the chair.

"Why are you still grinning at me like a perverted paedophile who looks as if she's going to pounce on me any second now? Keep stuffing yourself and Wipe that creepy grin off your face before I complain to my-"

"Mother?" she barked before breaking into fits of laughter at his fail attempt to mock her. Dongho stared at the petite girl before him with a blank expression before taking his revenge.

"Haha you're hilarious." he replied, sarcasm dripping from every word he uttered. Yet again, Chiyun smiled genuinely at Dongho before taking the small plate of butterscotch meringue and holding it up to Dongho. "Take one." she offered nicely. "No thanks, if Rain hyungnim sees me eating during my job I'm dead." he explained, gently pushing back the plate of desserts that was previously infront of his face. A loud grumble emitted from Dongho's stomach causing him to blush frusiously.

"Ahahaha, looks like your tummy wouldn't really care if you got in trouble or not. C'mon I'm sure your boss wouldn't mind, I mean you can't have a hungry waiter on the job now can you?" She explained before picking up one of the sweet treats and placing it infront of Dongho, whose face was still evidently pink.

"Open up~" she sang as if she was feeding a little child. Dongho stared at the treat before him before hesistantly opening his mouth and accepting it.

"Good boy~" Chiyun giggled innocently. Before he knew it Dongho was happily eating alongside of Chiyun, the both of them gorging themselves on the various butterscotch treats on their table.

"So, why did you decide to order all this butterscotch desserts anyway? I mean don't girls usually like chocolate or strawberry?" he questioned the little girl who kept insisting on feeding him after she fed him a spoonfull of her souffle. Normally Dongho would be creeped out by someone who won't let him pick up a spoon and feeding himself but he didn't really mind being spoon-fed by Chiyun. Infact he liked it.

Despite being loved so much he never really felt love himself, wasn't even sure if it existed. He never let any of his customers get close to him, always answering them with the same answers and never letting them see the real him. But she was different, she knew she was different and she wouldn't let anybody forget it. Chiyun laughed at Dongho's question, something that she's been doing a lot for the past two hours that they've been hanging out and pigging out on all the desserts.

"Dongho-ah, look at me? Do I seem like any usual girl?" she answered him smartly. While contemplating on her answer Dongho chuckled and nodded his head, opening his mouth to receive yet another spoonful of souffle from Chiyun.

"But to further elaborate on your question...I like butterscotch because it's sweet, a different kind of sweet from chocolate but still sweet. It's," she paused before taking in a deep breath. "I don't know I'm not really great at explaining it. But butterscotch just tastes so nice! It's different in a better way, at least that's what I think." She explained sincerely before finishing off the souffle and switching to the last dessert on her table, the butterscotch cupcake decorated with a yellow buttercup flower candy.

"Waah! Is your patissiere a psychic or something? These are like three things I love in one! Your chef is a genius!" she squealed in delight before taking out her camera and capturing the delicious sweet.

Dongho cocked his head to his right in a confused manner, his left eyebrow slowly raising in confusion. "You...like buttercups?" he asked.

"Yup!" she answered cutely. Chiyun gazed at her phone and noticed how cute Dongho was and decided to take his picture without him knowing.

"But why? They're so small and nobody gives them as presents, why would you like such flowers?" Chiyun stared at Dongho with an expressionless face, her hand placed her phone back into her pocket before picking up the cupcake and shoving it near Dongho's face.

"It may be small but it's adorable. Your questions are so stupid, it's like asking why we breath or why stars twinkle or why we fall in love." Her annoyed expression saddened Dongho making him think that he had greatly upset her, noticing this fact Chiyun took a breath and broke up the cupcake in two before feeding one to Dongho.

His gaze met hers as he struggled to find the words to apologize to her. He wasn't really great with sorry's. Make a girl fall for him in the short time of three hours, he can do that. Get him to serve a cafe full of plastic women, he'll do it without a sweat. But get him to apologize to a girl he's completely fallen in love with under two hours? You might as well ask him to fly into outerspace and destroy pluto. Quite Impossible.

Chiyun's soft and caring eyes calmed Dongho and made him feel a way he'd never felt before. It was a feeling that he wanted to feel for the rest of his life. What Chiyun lacked in height, she made up for with her big heart and her loving nature.

"Eat the cupcake Dongho, it'll make you feel better." she smiled. Not wanting to disappoint her any more, Dongho smiled and gladly accepted the cupcake that she offered him. After feeding him the cupcake Chiyun proceeded on eating the cupcake herself and drinking her water.

Dongho looked at the table and laughed in shock at how the both of them ate so much sweets. He breathed in the fresh air of Seoul and glanced peacefully at the clouds hovering above the world. The day surely was beautiful, the sky was a comforting shade of blue, the clouds slowly moved from one place to another, like a ship slowly sailing the seven seas.

Chiyun's gaze fell on the resting Dongho, the smile on his face, the steady rising and falling of his chest, his angel faced features. Chiyun couldn't help but feel something connecting them to one another, like an invisible string was connected to their hearts.

The corners of Chiyun's mouth rose into a smile. "Oppa, how much for everything?"

Her soft, soothing voice brought Dongho back from his daydream. "Oppa?" he uttered to himself in a whisper, his head lowering itself to face a certain butterscotch loving little girl. His head tilted to the side, his eyes showing glimmering with delight at the little nickname.

"Call me boo or baby boo! Oppa's so common these days." he demanded, his pearly whites almost blinding Chiyun's eyes. As she was about to open her mouth in protest to the silly nick name Dongho stood up from his seat and cut her off. "I'll call you buttercup!"

"Deal! Baby boo~ How much do I have to pay for the lovely meal?" Her childish, innocent grin causing the army of butterflies inside Dongho's stomach to flutter furiously.

"Well Buttercup considering that I ate with you, I'll give it to you for free if!" Chiyun blinked rapidly and patiently waited for Dongho to finish his sentence. Her eyes never leaving his as he approaced her and bent over so that his face would be right infront of hers.

"I'll pay for the meal if you give me a kiss on the-" Chiyun wasted no second and swiftly pressed her soft lips against Dongho's slightly chubby cheeks. Pushing back her chair so she could escape from the young prodigy, Chiyun waved back at Dongho without even turning back to face him.

"BYE BOO! I'LL SEE YA SOON!" she yelled. A clear shocked expression was on Dongho's tomato red face, his hand lightly touched where Chiyun's lips previously were causing him to reminescence about the young girl.

Rain's hand fell upon the young prodigy's shoulder, "You know you just lost a week's worth of pay right?" he stated knowingly. "Well I didn't really think she'd do it!" Dongho blushed as he stormed back into the cafe, trying to cover his dark tomato face.

~~~~~~~~~
Weeks passed and Bishounen cafe got itself a new regular customer while Dongho got himself a favourite customer.
"Haha hey Dongho wanna hear something really cool? I made it up. It's the titles of various songs that I put together to form this paragraph" Chiyun grinned. Over the past few weeks Dongho and Chiyun would spend at least two house talking to each other, however since the first incident he didn't let her order any more than three desserts. Dongho knew better than to let the evil little girl he fell in love with empty his wallet again.
"Sure thing Buttercup." He replied with a sweet smile. Chiyun smiled back at 'her boo'. Since their first encounter Chiyu made it a habit to visit the cafe everyday that Dongho worked there. She taught him how to let loose and be himself while he taught her...well he didn't really teach her anything. He just sat with her, eating the butterscotch covered sweets that she ordered and laughing together.
With a deep breath Chiyun prepared to speak the longest thing that she would possibly ever have to say in her whole entire life.
I think 'Juliette' and 'JoJo' needs a bit more 'Fire', maybe she dialed the 'Wrong Number,' but 'Hey, Don't Bring Me Down,' lets 'Gara Gara Go' cause 'I Don't Care.'
'U' should 'Tell Me,' yeah, 'Tell Me Your Wish,' not 'Lies' . 'Ah!' '10 Points Out of 10!' you 'Heartbreaker' you're so 'Mirotic!' 'Please Don't Go,' 'I Hope' you 'Breathe' mi 'Amigo' because 'Nobody' can be a 'Hot Issue' 'Diva' 'Only You' can.
'Try to copy me' but you can't cuz 'Flower Lady' has too many 'Balloons.'
I'm a 'Survivor' so let's 'Replay' with 'Wonder Boy' because 'You Are the One' I'll 'Knockout' if you don't 'Smile' with 'Super Girl' until the 'Blue Tomorrow'.'Friend',let's 'Hug' but 'Only look at me,' that's my only 'Prayer'.
I'm 'So Hot' in my 'Wedding Dress.' 'Baby I'm so Sorry' I'm 'In the Club' yeah 'Club No.1' with my 'Magic Body', but I'll always be 'In Your Hands' because there's 'No One Like Me.' I'll be your 'Bodyguard' because
Who cares, 'Let's go Party' and we'll be 'Dancing Out' while screaming 'Show!Show!Show!' in the 'Rainy Night' with a 'L.O.V.E' that's 'Loveless'. 'Oh!',
I think I caught the 'Love Disease' under the 'Star, Star, Star' 'In My Room' after 'Four Seasons.' Yes I'm 'Sirius' 'Mister', that's a 'Bad Woman' under your
'Umbrella', you should run towards the 'Magic Castle' behind the 'Purple Line' 'Like Now' or else 'Every Heart' will 'Breakout' and 'Stand by U', 'How Gee'.
'Oh my Baby' I'm 'Still Alone', 'Why' must the 'Planetarium' bid its 'Last Farewell' 'Tonight'. I wanna 'Be With You' because I'm 'Missin U' and 'Our Love'
that was your 'Last Gift' for me. You know I 'Love Ya" with a 'Love Like This' so let's 'Run Devil Run' to our 'Special' 'Oasis' that's a 'Mystery'and we'll go 'Bingeul Bingeul' and shout 'O.K!' to the people at 'Carribean Bay' hoping that it'll 'Echo' back to us.
'Move' or I'll 'Push Push' you off a cliff so don't 'Take it Slow' 'Before You Fall Asleep' Hey did you know? 'You're My' "Superstar' but 'I need a Girl to tell me' you're a 'Good Person' before I 'Break Down'.
Today's a 'Brand New Day', 'One Fine Spring Day', 'The Day of Confessing My love', 'Huh!' 'Your Eyes' are so beautiful~ 'Maybe' 'In My Dream' there will be 'No Other'.
I won't find another 'Love Like This' I believe in 'One Life One Love' because 'My All is in You' so baby 'Let me be the one' to 'Love Ya.' But if you want 'I'll back off so you can live' and become 'Supa Solo'.
Chiyun took inhaled a deep breath before breathing it all out. Dongho blankly stared at the panting Chiyun who successfully gulped down a glass of water in one go. Silence filled the air but was abruptly broken when Dongho got up from his seat and started cheering.
"BUTTERCUP THAT'S GREAT! AHAHA HOW DID YOU DO THAT! YOU GOTTA TEACH ME!!" His laughter echoed with Chiyun's, earning them smiles from strangers and Dongho's co-workers.
"You got one more week until the bet's over Changsun~" Rain laughed evily at the calm Changsun. His voice showed no fear and his composture remained straight. "And you've got one week until you may as well be completely broke." He retorted with a smirk that made one of the female customers squeal.
After Dongho's series of praises and compliments the two lovebirds continued on their daily drabble with one another. From Tokyo to Paris to giant Escargos, the two of them seemed to land unto any topic but one, Love. At least not until today.
"Hey buttercup what's the best thing about you?" Dongho asked Chiyun, earning him a laugh and a small smile from the butterscotch loving girl.
"Well Boo, that's one weird question but I don't know. I'll have to think about that."
Dongho nodded his head, understanding how she would need time to answer him.
"What about you? What's the best thing about you?" As Chiyun patiently waited for an answer she noticed small eyebags appeared growing under Dongho's eyes gaining curiousity from Chiyun. She popped a butterscotch candy in her mouth and pocketed the wrapper, mentally reminding herself to throw it away when she got home.
"Hey Boo, have you been getting any sleep lately?" Dongho let out a tired yawn and a muffled "Not really", all of which basically answered Chiyun's question.
Sadness, Happiness, Excitement, Disapppointment and even Anger. Chiyun felt it all that very moment. She hung her head low, her fringe covering half of her face and most importantly her eyes.
"You're in love." she stated knowingly.
"Bwoh?" Dongho stared at Chiyun, millions of thoughts cramming themselves into his tired brain.
"When you are in Love you can't fall asleep because reality is better than your dreams," she explained before getting up from her seat and pushing her chair back under the table. "It's a quote from Dr.Seuss." she finished.
Chiyun got out a few bills and coins and placed them unto the table. "Here's the pay, I'll talk to you soon." she tried to say as brightly as she could.
'Why am I being like this? Who knows maybe he's in love with me too? Heh, don't kid yourself Chiyunnie. It's bad to lie. A guy as amazing as Dongho wouldn't be interested in a weird girl like you.' she thought, the tears running down her cheeks. Her little legs running as fast as they could away from the oh so famous Bishounen Cafe.
"Chakkman Chiyun-ah!" he yelled after her but it was no use. 'For a little girl Chiyun runs pretty fast.' he thought to himself, a tired sigh mixed with disappointment escaping his lips.
Changsun walked out of the cafe with a tray in hand. Despite being the cafe's patissiere he also helped the others clean up at night. His gorgeous face would attract girls from miles away and his appealing attitude had the power of melting them in their seats causing him to be one of the most wanted waiters in Bishounen Cafe, alongside his friends Dongho and Ryouga but ever since him and Ryouga were promoted they didn't serve customers anymore.
Calmly approaching the pretty boy prodigy, Changsun placed the money in his pocket before it flew away and silently cleared the table that the cafe's maknae shared with who they called his 'future girlfriend.' He gave the young man a glance before putting his voice box into use.
"I suggest asking her out the next time she comes here, she's got the idea of you never being able to like her. Don't let her wait for so long." he said, earning him a questioning look from the young man before him.
"How do you know?" Changsun simply scoffed before turning back to Dongho.
"Experience. It's what Kumiko thought when she met me, I chased after her and now we're together, 3 months and going strong. The same with Ryouga. Him, Ayumu, me and Kumiko went on a double date a few days ago and the girls confessed to us about how they thought we would've never gone out with them." Changsun explained with a smirk, his trademark smile.
Dongho turned back to where Chiyun ran towards and smiled to himself before heading back into the cafe.
'I've got the answer to your question buttercup. I just hope, for both our sakes you come by tomorrow.'
And she did. Chiyun didn't want to make it seem as if something was wrong with her, she was different. She wasn't going to runaway from the boy he liked, no she was gonna stand up to him.
'Ok Chiyunnie, this is it. Just tell him how you feel. Be like a real buttercup! Be like the Buttercup in Power puff girls! Strong, brave, bold and fearless!' She thought to herself before taking in a deep breath and letting it out with a sharp sigh.
Her hands grabbed the handle on the door and entered the cafe for the first time. Weird how she's been there almost everyday for almost one month and yet she still has never entered the cafe. Her eyes wandered the comforting cafe, the scent of freshly baked pastries and warm hot chocolate filling her whole being.
"Chiyunnie!" she heard Dongho call out to her, his voice ringing in her ears. Chiyun stood her ground and waited for the young man who tiptoed himself into her heart.
"Heya Boo." she smiled sweetly, he wasn't the only one who was good at hiding feelings.
Dongho took a deep breath and grabbed Chiyun's hand, placing a butterscotch cupcake decorated a buttercup and heart.
Completely surprised by his actions, Chiyun stared at the cupcake in her hand, but mostly the heart beside the buttercup on the cupcake.
"You asked me yesterday about what's the best thing about me right? Well I have my answer." Chiyun's eyes widened as she snapped her head towards his direction.
All eyes were on the two young lovebirds, each and every one of them waiting for Dongho to continue his sentence.
"The best thing about me is you buttercup. Be mine?" A bracelet made entirely of little buttercups found its way around Chiyun's small wrist while she fought hard to hold back her tears.
"And the best thing about me is you too baby boo." She replied happily. Dongho grinned towards the- I mean HIS girl and picked her up with ease, the both of them twirling in circles towards the cafe's counter.
Everyone in the cafe cheered for the two couple and surprisingly enough even Dongho's ajumma fangirls were as well. Dongho set Chiyun down before pressing his lips unto hers, the taste of butterscotch enveloping his lips.
A smirk automatically appeared on Changsun's gorgeous face, his eyes darting towards his boss. Rain gulped loudly, feeling stares from a certain someone. "Hey you two, stop kissing and come here for a second." Dongho and Chiyun hesitantly broke off their sweet kiss before turning their head towards Changsun and his girlfriend, Kumiko as well as the cafe's barista, Ryouga and his almost fiance, Ayumu.
"Hi Ayumu Noona, Hey Kumiko Noona, Yo Ryouga Hyung." Dongho greeted their 'elders' whilst his 'buttercup' simply smiled at them.
"What's up Changsun hyung?" Changsun continued on smirking while he dragged a grim faced Rain towards the group.
"Me and Hyung here had a bet. He bet that you and your adorable little buttercup would start going out in two months while I bet one." He explained. Dongho and blankly stared at his superiors and the thought of them betting on something like that.
'Pfft, they're setting such a great example for me.' he thought to himself, his left arm snaking it's way across Chiyun's shoulder.
"What's the punishment?" Ayumu asked her bestfriend Kumiko, seeing as how her and Changsun were dating she figured that she would know all about the whole bet.
"I'm not even gonna bother about Rain Oppa's punishment for Changsun, seeing as how he lost. But if Changsun won Rain Oppa has to treat Dongho's dear little buttercup to a weeks worth of free food." Kumiko grinned at the though of Rain being broke.
Ryouga, Ayumu and Dongho laughed at Rain's gloomy expression when Chiyun quickly grabbed one of the menus on the counter. Her expression brightened as she placed the open booklet unto the counter, her purple manicured finger pointing to a delicious butterscotch eclair.
"I want thirteen of those! One for everyone and the rest for me and Dongho!" Her pearly whites appeared once more as a wide grin took over her soft pink lips.
"THIRTEEN?" Rain cried, his head colliding with the countertop. Changsun patted his back in pity. "Have a great week hyung!" he teased.
Meanwhile Ayumu and Kumiko, who were trying to surpress their laughter fell off their chairs, their laugh echoing throughout the whole cafe. The girls recieved stares from everyone in the cafe and eventually so did their boyfriends as they joined in with their laughter.
Dongho, Rain and Chiyun stared at them boredly before turning their attention back to the eclairs that the current chef placed unto the counter top.
"Weirdos." They muttered to themselves as each one of them started eating the eclairs."AHAHAHA ECLAIRS!!" the four roared. Ayumu was clutching her stomach while her 'almost fiance' Ryouga was furiously hitting the countertop alongside his bestfriend Changsun. Meanwhile Kumiko was continuously banging her fist on the floor, all of their faces turning unbelievably red.
"Love you Boo~" Chiyun cooed towards Dongho who gave her a sweet peck on the lips replied.
"Love you too Buttercup~ You really are the best thing about me." he whispered in her ear.
"Oh and Rain Hyung, if it's not obvious yet, I quit." Dongho grinned.
"AHAHAAHA ECLAIRS!!"
"Weirdos."
