Biography
Inoue Mao was a popular U-15 idol several years ago; she was well known for her role as Imai Akane in the drama Kids War. Before that, she had parts in several other dramas from the age of five, but it wasn't until the debut of Kids War in 1999 that she was actually noticed. It was during that time that Japanese audiences started paying more attention to Inoue.
At 19 years of age, Mao was enrolled in Meiji University, studying theatre and literature.
